FAQ

Course fee will be collected upon enrolment into each course. Subsequent fees for each course will be collected on a monthly basis at the start of the month. The monthly course fee covers 4 lessons per month. Payment of all fees is by bank transfer only. All fees paid are non-refundable, non-transferable and non-negotiable.

A one-time non-refundable registration fee of S$30 will be collected upon enrolment into the Centre. In the event that the student withdraws from the Centre, the registration fee shall re-apply in his/her next enrolment.

1.5 hour per session 

Yes, there is a one month deposit fee upon registration.

A student who wishes to terminate his or her class will have to give the centre one month’s notice by submitting a withdrawal form one month prior to the withdrawal date. Your deposit will be used to offset the forthcoming month’s tuition fees accordingly (provided that there are lessons)

Please also note that your deposit can only be used to offset your last 4 lessons tuition fees and not refunded in any circumstance.

Fees for students who join after the start of the month will be pro-rated based on the number of remaining lessons in the month of registration. 

The monthly tuition fee cover for 4 lessons in a month. Should there be a 5th lesson for that particular month, the fees will be pro-rated accordingly.

At Makarios Word, we offer a first trial lesson for new students. This allows your child to have a taste of the learning environment at Makarios Word. 
You need not pay for the trial lesson if your child does not wish to continue with lessons at Makarios Word. 

Our centre will be closed on all government gazette Public Holidays and there will be no lessons (hence no tuition fees incurred).

During the school term, the students are required to attend the class. Please note that lesson fees for unattended lessons are strictly non-refundable.

Students who miss the lesson are responsible to ask for follow up materials and guidance.
